8hrs pw – £4,225 pa
Church Lawton Parish Council wish to appoint a part-time Clerk/RFO to work an average of 8 hours per week, including evening meetings (approximately 10 times per year – to be flexible to meet Council needs).
The successful applicant will be I.T. literate and self-reliant, preferably with some knowledge of Local Government and accounting procedures. Duties will include general administration, e-mail, telephone and written communications including social media and website maintenance, and the management of various Council projects from time to time. Training in all aspects of the role will be provided if required.
It is expected that the Clerk will undertake ILCA and CiLCA training if not already completed.
The Clerk will be required to work from home, apart from attending Council meetings. A Council laptop and printer are provided.
Knowledge of the area and an interest in parish activities is desirable.
Clerk Pay Scale LC1 SCP (7 – 17) (currently £10.16 to £12.39 per hour) depending on experience, but training can be provided.
