The next branch meeting will be held on Friday 1st December at Congleton Town Hall.

The Chairman will welcome everyone and members will introduce themselves

INTRODUCTION TO CONGLETON TOWN COUNCIL

Chief Officer of Congleton Town Council, David McGifford will introduce Congleton Town Council, giving a short talk on the what the council does.

SPEAKER

Jeff Scales, Head of Services (North) for Locality will be giving a presentation on the Community Right to Bid (assets of community value) and Community Right to Challenge.

SECRETARY’S REPORT

To receive a report from the Secretary on Branch membership

TREASURER’S REPORT

To receive a report from the Treasurer on the Branch’s Finances

TRAINING

To consider utilising the surplus from the Branch Conference to provide a training and conference bursary

To consider undertaking a Training Needs Survey

To note SLCC Courses planned in 2018

To appoint members to the Branch Conference sub-group
