Finance Officer – Northwich Town Council

29.6hrs per week – £17,332 pa

Northwich Town Council is seeking a part time Finance Officer to work from the Town Council Offices in Northwich. Reporting to the Town Clerk/Assistant Town Clerk the Finance Officer will work 29.6 hours a week over four days.

SCP 11 £21,166 (pro rata)

This is a wide ranging role, with a remit which includes contributing to the day to day control of the accounting department ensuring that budgetary control and accurate financial information is delivered across the whole organisation to acceptable standards.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of accounting procedures and be experienced in the use of Financial Systems.

You will be a strong team player, with a positive and proactive attitude who works well under pressure in order to get the job done, having a desire to learn and develop your skills and experience.
